This International course has been designed by FA Learning to encompass the new FA Coaching philosophy and introduce you to a series of technical and theoretical aspects related to coaching.
It is the first of three levels (Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced) which build upon each other and offer a comprehensive learning programme for internationally based coaches.
The foundation Course includes a range of practices that can be utilised for a variety of players in different situations. In addition, there will be help on how to adapt coaching sessions to meet the needs of your players, including working as a coach with limited resources at your disposal.

All students will receive Tutor support and guidance towards completion of the course assignments and continued feedback around their practical coaching performance. There is a formative assessment process which involves the delivery of a session, which will be drawn from the breadth of the Technical syllabus. Upon completion, the Tutor will provide detailed feedback around agreed criteria and Action Plan effectively. This is seen as a key aspect of this Award of aspiring coaches.

Following successful completion of this course, the content will prepare candidates to access the International Coaching Award intermediate Level, or the FA leve 12 Coaching Certificate in Football/FA Youth Module – Developing the practices course in England.
